Restaurant Manager

I. JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • Greet customers when they arrive at the restaurant and provide them with the menu.
  • Answer questions and suggest dishes and drinks to new customers.
  • Be knowledgeable about the current availability of food and beverages in the restaurant.
  • Take food and drink orders from customers and pass them on to the kitchen staff.
  • Recommend the menu and inform regular customers of new dishes at the restaurant.
  • Serve food and drinks to customers' tables once prepared.
  • Provide alcoholic beverages responsibly.
  • Check whether customers are satisfied with their meals.
  • Prepare the bill when requested.
  • Receive payment from customers in accordance with the amount on the bill.
  • Keep track of changes at tables, such as the number of guests or order modifications.
  • Assist in keeping the restaurant clean and well-ventilated.
  • Serve customers throughout the meal and assist them as needed.

 

II. THE PERSONNEL WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

  • Able to communicate in basic Japanese.
  • Good health and the ability to endure standing and walking for extended periods.
  • The ability to stay calm and professional with demanding customers.
  • Experience working in restaurants, hotels, or conferences is an advantage.
  • Patience and attention to detail.
