Mid-Autumn Festival 2024 at DAIUN: A Journey Back to Childhood Through Coloring Activities

18/09/2024 - Category: About Internals

Every year when the Mid-Autumn Festival arrives, people reminisce about moments with family and friends, gazing at the moon, enjoying mooncakes, and immersing themselves in the vibrant atmosphere of this celebration. At DAIUN, the Mid-Autumn Festival is not only an occasion to enjoy traditional treats but also an opportunity to build team spirit, strengthen connections among members through fun and meaningful activities. This year, we chose a special event: Coloring – Returning to Childhood.

Coloring Activity: Sparking Creativity and Connection Within the Company

In modern life, work and responsibilities often make us forget the simple joys of childhood. Therefore, to celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival in 2024, we organized a creative and meaningful internal event – a coloring activity where each member could immerse themselves in a colorful and imaginative world, just like the days when a crayon and a blank sheet could bring boundless happiness.

Coloring is not merely a recreational activity. It is also a way for everyone to relieve stress, relax, and rediscover peaceful moments amidst the bustle of work. For us, it’s also a great way to connect the company’s members, fostering solidarity and enhancing relationships within the team.

A Creative and Nostalgic Space

During the event, the office was transformed into a small, vibrant art gallery. Whiteboards, colored pencils, and drawing paper were prepared, creating a warm and friendly atmosphere. Each person could choose a picture they liked, whether it was nostalgic images like the Jade Rabbit, Lady Hằng, or more modern and creative designs.

Without the pressure of work, everyone sat down, picked up their crayons, and slowly immersed themselves in the coloring process. Laughter and conversations about the small works of art filled the space, creating a comfortable and close environment where every member connected not only through work but also through shared interests and joys.

Unforgettable Moments of Bonding

Throughout the event, everyone experienced moments of joy and laughter. From the first completed pictures to the more creative and impressive works, the event successfully brought everyone together, leaving them not only with beautiful memories but also a refreshed working spirit.

As the drawings were completed, we held a small exhibition so everyone could admire each other's artwork. Applause and compliments resonated, creating a cheerful and inspiring atmosphere. Each picture was not only a personal achievement but also a symbol of the unity and teamwork within the collective.

The Values of the Coloring Activity

1. Rekindling Childhood Memories:
For many, holding a crayon again takes them back to simpler times. Memories of Mid-Autumn evenings, with the bright moon, colorful lanterns, and carefree playtime, seemed to vividly come to life through each stroke. Childhood stories were gradually shared among colleagues, creating closer bonds and deeper understanding.

2. Relieving Stress and Relaxing the Mind:
Coloring is one of the scientifically proven methods to relax the mind. By focusing on the coloring process, people can temporarily forget work pressures, allowing the mind to relax and find peace. This is also a great way to enhance concentration and creativity, leaving people refreshed and ready for the upcoming work challenges.

3. Strengthening Team Spirit:
Not only is this an individual activity, but the event also provided an opportunity for company members to interact, share, and support each other. Discussions about colors, images, or even advice on how to make the drawings look better helped everyone become closer and more understanding of each other. This is an important part of building team spirit, improving the work atmosphere, and creating a positive, supportive environment.

4. Promoting Individual Creativity:
Coloring is not restricted by rules or templates. Everyone is free to be creative, choose their colors, and express themselves in their own way. This is also a chance for members to showcase their creativity, expressing their personalities and styles through each stroke. The final result is not just vibrant pictures but also a message about the diversity and richness in each person's thinking and working style.

Mid-Autumn is More Than Just Mooncakes – It’s About Memories and Team Spirit

At the end of the event, everyone took home not only their self-colored pictures but also fond memories of a memorable Mid-Autumn day. The Mid-Autumn Festival is not just a time to enjoy mooncakes and admire the moon; it is also an opportunity for us – the members of DAIUN – to understand and bond with each other better.

Through this coloring activity, we realized that sometimes the simplest joys can bring the most profound values. These are connection, understanding, and empathy – the key elements to building a positive and cohesive working environment.

Conclusion

The Mid-Autumn Festival 2024 at DAIUN will surely be an unforgettable memory for each member. The coloring activity not only brought joy but also helped us strengthen our bonds, create lasting relationships, and spark creativity within everyone.

We hope that the spirit of this event will continue to spread and become part of the company culture, where everyone feels connected, creative, and supported.

Wishing everyone a warm, joyful, and happy Mid-Autumn Festival!
